Pig iron producer Neo Metaliks based in Durgapur, West Bengal has raised offers by INR 1,000/t on 12 Jan’22 to INR 43,000/t compared with deals at INR 42,000/t exw concluded yesterday. Offers in central and north India have increased today. Domestic pig iron prices are rising on optimistic export sentiment and rising coal and steel prices as well as slight supply shortage in the spot market.
