India: Pellet prices range-bound in Bellary, Karnataka

Iron ore pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka remained range-bound at INR 10,000/t exw today, as per SteelMint’s assessment.

• Confirmed deals of 10,000-11,000 t were recorded in this publishing window at around INR 9,900-10,300/t exw.
• Pellet-based sponge iron, P-DRI, prices moved down to INR 34,500/t exw against INR 35,150/t on 16 Aug’22. The shortage of scrap kept sponge iron demand supported.
