India: Pellet prices inch down in Bellary, Karnataka

Iron ore pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Bellary inched down to INR 9,800/t exw today as against INR 9,900/t on 22 July, as per SteelMint assessment.

• Confirmed deals of 43,000 t were recorded in this publishing window at around INR 9,600-9,800/t exw.
• Recently, players from Eastern and Central India were heard to have sold pellets to southern India-based mills.
• However, pellet-based sponge iron, P-DRI, prices moved up to INR 34,050/t exw against INR 33,950/t on 22 July.
