Pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka remained stable at INR 10,550/t exw on 17 May’24 compared to 14 May. Deals of around 10,000 t were concluded at INR 10,500-10,600/t during this period. Market participants have shown dull buying interest amid fluctuations in sponge iron prices in the region. Notably, sponge (P-DRI) prices fell by INR 400/t w-o-w to INR 28,350/t exw today.
