Pellet (Fe63%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka dropped INR 100/t ($1/t) to INR 9,500/t ($113/t) exw on 16 Aug’24 compared to 13 Aug. Around 7,000 t of deals were recorded at INR 9,500/t in this publishing window. Decline in sponge and semi-finished prices kept the pellet market under pressure. Meanwhile, sponge iron (P-DRI) prices decreased by INR 100/t to INR 25,900/t exw today against 14 Aug’24.
