India: Pellet export shipments fall over 20%, m-o-m, in May

India’s pellet export shipments fell 24% m-o-m in May’22 to 1.06 mnt from 1.39 mnt in Apr, according to vessel line-up data maintained with SteelMint.
China was the largest importer at 530,000 t, followed by Turkey and Indonesia at 130,000 t and 110,000 t, respectively.
AM/NS India continued to be the largest exporter at 440,000 t, followed by Rashmi Metaliks and BRPL at 160,000 t and 150,000 t, respectively.
