HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 1,500/t in Raipur and INR 2,200/t in Mandi Gobindgarh on 16 Mar’22 on surging demand in the domestic market. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 60,500/t exw Raipur and INR 61,500/t exw Mandi. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 65,000/t and INR 66,300/t in Mandi last week. Prices exclude GST.
