HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 1,100/t in Raipur d-o-d today on account of improved demand in the domestic market, SteelMint notes. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 60,000/t exw-Raipur. Meanwhile, patra prices are assessed at INR 60,000/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh, higher by INR 1,000/t d-o-d. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 56,000/t and INR 56,200/t in Mandi last week. Prices exclude GST.
