India: Patra prices rise by up to INR 1,300/t on firm demand

HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 1,000/t d-o-d in Raipur today. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 57,000/t exw Raipur. Meanwhile, prices are assessed at INR 57,500/t exw Mandi Gobindgarh, higher by INR 1,300/t d-o-d. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 52,500/t and INR 54,200/t in Mandi last week. Prices exclude GST.
