India: Patra prices fall by up to INR 500/t ($7/t) in key markets

HR strip (patra) prices witnessed a downtrend d-o-d in key markets on 27 Apr’22. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are:

Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab: INR 58,800/t ($768/t), down INR 500/t ($7/t) on d-o-d basis.
Raipur, Chhattisgarh: INR 59,000/t ($771/t), down INR 300/t ($4/t) d-o-d basis.
Prices exclude GST at 18%.
