India: Patra prices edge up across key markets

HR strip (patra) prices surged by INR 2,000/t, d-o-d, in Raipur, on improving sales, SteelMint notes. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 46,000/t exw-Raipur. Meanwhile, patra prices are assessed at INR 48,100/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh, higher by INR 1,100/t d-o-d. Prices do not include GST at 18%.
