India: Patra prices edge lower across key markets

HR strip (patra) prices edged lower by INR 200/t, d-o-d, in Raipur owing to low sales, SteelMint learnt from sources. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 45,800/t exw-Raipur. Meanwhile, prices are assessed at INR 47,600/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh – lower by INR 500/t d-o-d. These prices do not include GST at 18%.
