HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 300/t in Raipur d-o-d today on account of improved demand in the domestic market, SteelMint notes. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 63,800/t exw-Raipur. Meanwhile, patra prices are assessed at INR 65,000/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh, up by INR 500/t d-o-d. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 59,000/t and INR 59,300/t in Mandi last week. Prices exclude GST.
