The HR strip (patra) market continued rising over the past week. SteelMint reported prices in Raipur at INR 53,800/t and INR 54,500/t in Mandi last week. Prices increased by INR 1,000/t in Raipur d-o-d on 5 Mar’22 on account of improved demand. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 61,000/t exw-Raipur, while prices are at INR 61,500/t exw Mandi Gobindgarh, up INR 1,500/t d-o-d.
