India: Pacific Exports to start 1.7 MnT Beneficiation Plant by October

Madhya Pradesh based Iron ore miner, Pacific Exports is going to start Beneficiation plant by October, 2014 with an annual production capacity of 1.7 MnT pa located in Katni district. The Katni region is basically known for low grade Iron ore with slightly higher Silica and Phosphorus content. Total Iron ore production capacity from the region will be around 3-4 MnT.

We expect to start commercial production from our beneficiation plant in the month of October, 2014. We will start to produce 60% Iron ore concentrate and gradually improve our quality,” said Mr. Agrawal from Pacific Exports.

We will target Chhattisgarh & Maharashtra based Pellet & Steel manufacturers, as we have logistical advantage over Odisha and Chhattisgarh (NMDC), he further added.
