Jalna (Maharashtra)-based major induction furnace mills witnessed an improvement in trade and transactions today. Over 9,000 t rebar (10-25mm) deals were recorded at INR 53,500-54,200/t exw, excluding GST. Increasing semi-finished steel prices and improved sentiments in the key markets pushed up buying enquiries. Jalna is one of the major rebar producing markets with a daily production capacity of around 15,000 t.
