India: Over 80,000 t of iron ore booked at NMDC’s Chhattisgarh auctions

NMDC auctioned of 81,400 t from Chhattisgarh on 21 May.

• Bacheli: 25,800-t DR CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) received INR 800/t premium (INR 6,200/t base), 4,000-t lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) sold at premium of INR 1,100/t over base price of INR 5,650/t.
• Kirandul: 51,600-t fines (Fe 64%, FOR basis) sold at INR 4,740/t while 68,000 t fines remained unsold.
• Prices are on FOR/FOT basis, exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
