Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 7,600 t of iron ore fines (Fe 59.5% – indicative) from its Barsua mines, Odisha, on 30 Aug’24. According to sources, the entire quantity of fines was booked at INR 3,670/t. Prices were on FOR loaded into rake basis and inclusive of royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
