India: Over 65,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Three iron ore auctions will be conducted from Karnataka in a week’s time-

U Krishna Prasad: 28,000 t (fines and lumps, Fe59.02-61.77%) on 23 Mar’23 at a base price of INR 3,475-4,225/t, including royalty.
Vedanta: 8,000 t (lumps, 6-20mm, Fe58.5%) on 24 Mar’23 at a base price of INR 4,289/t, excluding royalty.
VESCO: 32,000 t (lumps, Fe62.20-62.90%) on 27 Mar’23 at a base price of INR 4,290-4,450/t, including royalty.
