India: Over 6,000 t sponge iron deals reported in Raipur

Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Raipur dropped INR 900/t to INR 32,500/t exw. With decline in offers, demand improved.

• Around 6,500 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 32,400-32,500/t on exw and FOR Raipur basis. Selling pressure eased with a few major plants following healthy deals today, SteelMint notes.
