India: Over 520,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka will auction around 527,000 t of iron ore.

• SMIORE: 39,000-t lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 56.20-58.80%) from its Sandur mines on 18 Dec’24.
• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 164,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56.80-64.14%) and 192,000-t fines (Fe 54.60-62.07%) on 19 Dec.
• NMDC Donimalai: 28,000-t fines (Fe 59%) and 104,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59%) on 19 Dec.

Prices are yet to be declared, which will include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
