Vedanta conducted an auction for 52,000 t of iron ore lumps from its A. Narrain Mines in Karnataka on 15 Jun’24.
- 44,000 t of siliceous lumps (low Al, high silica) were booked at the set price of INR 2,330/t.
- 4,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53%) were booked at INR 3,560/t against the base price of INR 3,500/t.
- Prices exclude royalty, DMF and NMET.
