India: Over 45,000 t of iron ore booked in auctions from Karnataka

On 8-11 Aug’25, 48,000-t iron ore was booked at auctions from Karnataka.

• Vedanta: 20,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 50.9-53.5%) booked at INR 2,510-3,750/t on 8 Aug’25 (excluding taxes)
• SKMEPL: 4,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 63.10%) booked at base price of INR 6,400/t on 11 Aug (including taxes)
• KSMCL: 4,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 64.3%) booked at base price of INR 5,478/t and 20,000-t fines (Fe 62.54-63.03%) booked at base price of INR 4,736-5,478/t on 11 Aug’25 (excluding taxes).
