Karnataka State Minerals Corporation Limited (KSMCL) conducted two iron ore auctions for 360,095 t from Sandur, Karnataka, on 9 Jan’23. According to sources, 262,000 t of fines (Fe54.18-63.24%) and 52,000 t of lumps (Fe52.07-63.22%) were booked at the base prices of INR 1,686-2,778/t and INR 1,733-3,468/t respectively. Prices exclude royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
