Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores Limited (SMIORE) sold 33,000 t of iron ore out of 70,000 t offered in an auction from Bellary, Karnataka, on 19 May. 21,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54.2-55.2%) was booked at INR 3,220-3,800/t against a base price of INR 3,220-3,790/t. Another 12,000 t of lumps (20-40 mm, Fe 54.7%) was booked at INR 4,320-4,330/t against a base price of INR 3,550/t (including taxes).
