KSMCL auctioned 154,000 t of iron ore from its Thimmappanagudi mines, Karnataka, on 29 Mar’25. Out of 103,000 t of fines, 32,000 t (Fe 52.52-52.88%) were booked at the base price of INR 1,715-1,793/t. The entire quantity of 51,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 50.04-52.95%) offered at a base price of INR 2,363-2,494/t went unsold. Prices are on ex-mines basis, exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET.
