The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 30,400 t of iron ore fines (Fe 59.5%- indicative) from its Barsua mines in Odisha on 24 Aug’24. According to sources, 22,800 t got booked at INR 3,487/t. Prices were on ex-mines basis and included royalty, DMF, NMET, and additional premium.
