India: Over 20,000 t of iron ore booked from Karnataka auctions

Around 23,550-t iron ore were booked at Karnataka-based auctions.

• Vedanta (10 Sep): 12,000-t lumps (6-40 mm, Fe 52-54%) were booked at INR 3,230-4,050/t against base prices of INR 2,650-3,800/t ex-mines.
• R Praveen Chandra (12 Sep): 11,550-t iron ore (6-30 mm, Fe 57.5%) were booked from the company’s Karnataka mines at INR 5,950/t (INR 440/t premium).

R Praveen Chandra’s prices include royalty, DMF, and NMEDT; Vedanta’s exclude them.
