India: Over 170,000 t of iron ore booked at Karnataka-based auctions

Around 172,000-t iron ore were booked at Karnataka-based auctions on 18 Feb’26.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 40,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.53%) sold at INR 3,670/t and 124,000-t fines at INR 2,193-3,562/t (Fe 56.8-62.92%).
• Vedanta: 8,000-t silicious lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 50.9-51.5%) booked at base prices of INR 3,250-3,350/t.
