India: Over 160,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka-based miners are set to auction over 160,000-t iron ore on 30 Dec.

• NMDC Donimalai: 40,000-t lumps (10-40mm, Fe 55%) and 40,000-t fines (Fe 55%).
• Vedanta: 8,000-t lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 48%).
• SMIORE: 23,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 55.2-60.7%), 18,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 55.6-56.5%), and 28,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 56.4-57.1%) of lumps and 4,000 t of fines (Fe 55.1%).

Prices are yet to be declared and will be inclusive of taxes, except those of Vedanta.
