India: Over 150,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka miners will auction around 162,000 t of iron ore next week.

• Vedanta: 8,000-t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 53.25-55.5%) and 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55.5%) on 14 Oct with base price yet to be declared.
• NMDC Kumaraswamy: Around 70,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59.63-60.60%) and 80,000-t fines (Fe 58.31-63.34%) on 15 Oct’25.
• Prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT for NMDC, whereas Vedanta excludes.
