The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 16,000 t of iron ore fresh fines (Fe 63.80%) from its Bolani mines in Odisha on 16 May’25. According to sources, the entire quantity got booked at a base price of INR 5,150/t. Price is on ex-mines basis and includes royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
