India: Over 140,000 t of iron ore booked in Karnataka auctions

144,000 t of iron ore was booked at auctions in Karnataka.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 88,000-t fines (Fe 59.18-61.61%), 33,000-t CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 60.39-61.34%) booked at INR 2,637-3,120/t and INR 3,373-3,564/t, respectively on 25 Mar.
• SMIORE: 8,000-t (20-40 mm, Fe 56.5-57.5%) and 3,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.1%) sold at INR 4,142-4,474/t and INR 5,617/t. 12,000-t fines (Fe 61.3-61.5%) booked at INR 4,214-4,528/t on 24 Mar.
