India: Over 10,000 t of rebars booked in Maharashtra, prices edge up d-o-d in Raipur

Confirmed deals of over 10,000 t of rebars were recorded in Jalna and Mumbai markets in Maharashtra. Buying interest remained strong even at high prices.
Meanwhile in Raipur, prices increased slightly by INR 200/t to INR 52,000/t exw for 10-25mm size. Only 1,650 t deals were recorded.Market participants informed that manufacturers have adequate bookings and are keeping average inventory.
