Melting scrap prices moved north in major scrap-based markets on 19 Jul’21. Prices moved up by INR 900/t, especially in Mandi Gobindgarh amid slight supply tightness along with improved bids due to strengthening prices of semis. Scrap prices in other markets, too, inched up by around INR 300-400/t. Prices could witness minor variations in the coming days, trader sources told SteelMint.
