Orissa Mineral Development Corporation (OMDC) has received consent from the State Pollution Control Board for the production of 1.8 MTPA of iron ore (ROM) and 0.3 MTPA of manganese ore from its Belkundi mines, the company revealed in a BSE filing. Meanwhile, the mine will obtain forest clearance for the land involved in the lease mining area.
