OMDC had an auction for 8,000 t iron ore CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 58.41-63.74%) and 9,304 t fines (Fe 51.44-58.82%) from its Bagiaburu and Bhadrashai mines in Odisha on 31 May’24. Entire quantity of iron ore fines got booked at INR 1,020-2,520/t against the base price of INR 1,000-2,200/t while CLO remained unsold. Prices are ex-mines basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET. Notably, material from Bhadrashai mines are old stocks.
