At OMC’s ferro chrome auction yesterday, 1,000 t (Cr: 60-62%, 10-100 mm) out of 3,100 t was sold at the base price of INR 105,839/t. The tepid response seen in the auction can be attributed to the subdued conditions prevailing in the ferro chrome market. BigMint assessed ferro chrome (HC60%, 10-150 mm) prices at INR 106,300/t exw-Jajpur on 24 May’24.
