Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has put forward an e-auction of Chrome ore in the upcoming weeks.
MSTC on the behalf of OMC, a state owned miner, will conduct a national e-auction of only 6,715 MT friable Chrome ore on 21 Nov, 2104. The material is available on Pardip port at Kalipan mines & COB plant, Odisha.
Bidders have to quote for basic price in INR per MT, which will be inclusive of royalty and exclusive for Cess and statutory duties & levies. Also, the minimum quantity to be quoted is 100 MT and in multiples of 100 MT.

OMC’s Chrome Ore & Chrome Concentrate E-auction on 17 Nov’14
OMC’s another e-auction for 13,500 MT friable Chrome ore and 1,000 MT Chrome concentrate to be held on 17 Nov, 2014. Both inside and outside buyers can participate in this e-auction. According to sources, OMC through this auction will decide prices for long-term linkage with Ferro chrome companies.
