Odisha Mining Corporation’s (OMC’s) chrome ore auction from its South Kaliapani and Sukrangi chromite mines in Odisha received a favourable response today. Out of 53,600t, approximately 24,100t were booked during the auction. Due to high demand and a rise in ferro chrome prices, high-grade material (54%) was booked at a 16% premium over the base price.
