State-owned miner Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) will offer 89,083 t of chrome ore (32-54% Cr2O3) in an auction to be held on 19 Sep’22, as per sources. The material is from OMC’s South Kaliapani, Sukrangi and Bangur mines in Odisha. The floor price for the auction is yet to be disclosed. In OMC’s last auction on 19 Aug, out of 85,200 t on offer, 10,300 t of chrome ore was sold at the base price.
