State PSU miner OMC has scheduled an iron ore auction for 17 Dec’21. Around 340,000 t of lump ore and 687,000 t of fines will be put up for auction. The miner has cut the base price for fines by up to INR 650/t and INR 500/t for lumps compared to its previous auction on 3 Dec at which around 15% of fines and 52% of lumps on offer was booked.
