State-owned miner, Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), will offer 89,472 t of chrome ore (32-54% Cr2O3) in an auction to be held on 19 Aug’22, as per sources. The quantity is being offered from OMC’s South Kaliapani, Sukrangi and Bangur mines in Odisha. The floor price for the auction is yet to be disclosed. On 18 Jul, OMC sold 13,500 t chrome ore at the base price out of 54,400 t.
