Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has scheduled an auction for 978,000 t of iron ore (574,000 t of fines, Fe54-64% and 404,000 t of lumps, Fe62%) on 16 Feb’23. The floor price for fines is INR 2,500-6,000/t and for lumps INR 6,300-10,600/t. OMC has increased the base price for fines by INR 450-990/t and has been rolled over for most of the lots of lumps except two by up to INR 600/t against the auction held on 17 Jan.
