Merchant chrome ore miner, Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), has scheduled an auction for 35,100 t of chrome ore lumps on 15 Sept’21. The base prices of various grades of chrome to be auctioned have been reduced by 15% on a monthly basis. The decrease in base prices came on the back of declining domestic ferro chrome prices, which are at INR 108,000/t ex-Jajpur.
