State-owned miner OMC has reduced chrome ore prices by 14% m-o-m for auctions to be held tomorrow due to reduced ferro chrome prices. The auction is for 35,100 t of regular grade and 50,000 t of sub-grade ores. Current prices of ferro chrome are at INR 96,000/t, with some producers offering at a higher price after the rise in Chinese demand for ferro chrome.
