Odisha’s leading miner Orissa Mining Corp (OMC) has postponed the iron ore e-auction scheduled on 7th Apr’21 for around 1.07 mn t seized iron ore from mines like Kasia, Jaribahal etc. The revised auction date is yet to be announced, sources confirmed SteelMint. The average grade of material put to auction varies from Fe 49%- 65.84%. In the last seized ore auction nearly 0.182 mn t ore was booked out of 1.25 mn t iron ore put to auction, consisted of average grade in the range Fe 62.68-65.83%.
