Odisha’s Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flagged off the operationalisation of three iron ore mines of state-owned miner OMC yesterday during the company’s 67th foundation day celebrations. The three mines are Khandbandh, Banspani and Unchabali, each with an EC limit of 1 mnt. OMC produced 27 mnt of iron ore in FY’22 compared with just 13.06 mnt in FY’21.
