Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), a state government undertaking company, upsurges quantity of Iron ore for sale in open market from Ex-Kurmitar/ Khandadhar Iron ore mines of Koira region in Sundargarh.
OMC has decided to increase its offered quantity by 100,000 MT (approx 66% more). Previously, OMC had offered 150,000 MT through its open sale notice dated 4 Jan, 2014. Owing to good response from buyers, it increased its offer to 250,000 MT now.
Iron ore (CLO) will be sold at price of INR 4,855/MT (inclusive of royalty and exclusive of other taxes and duties as applicable).
Material will be sold by 31 Mar, 2014 on ‘First-Come-First-Serve’ basis to end-use plants of Odisha and outside. The entire allotted quantity should be lifted by 31 Mar, 2014.
The buyer will arrange for lifting the material by truck from mines on his own. The responsibility of OMC ceases once the material is loaded into trucks.
