State-owned miner, OMC, has lowered the base price for its upcoming chrome ore auction on 16 Dec’22 by 4-5% from the previous auction on 16 Nov, following a drop in domestic ferro chrome prices by 3% m-o-m on 15 Dec. Out of 104,100 t put on offer, only 19,300 t were booked during the last auction held on 16 Nov.
